1.3 Hotjar
Our website uses Hotjar, a service provided by Hotjar Ltd, Elia Zammit Street 3, St. Julians STJ 1000, Malta (“Hotjar”). Hotjar collects data about the behavior of our users and their devices using tools that help us to better understand our users' experiences (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they click on, what users like and dislike, etc.). This allows us to build and maintain our service with user feedback.
This tool uses the following cookies:
- “_hjSessionUser_#” (1 year): Hotjar cookie that is set when a user accesses a page with the Hotjar script for the first time. 1.4 Google Tag Manager
Our website uses Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google Tag Manager”). The Tag Manager is used by us to manage the tools and external services that we use on our website and enables the use of so-called tags. A tag is a code element that is stored in the source code of the website, e.g. to control which page or service elements and tools are activated and loaded in which order. In some cases, the data is processed on a Google server in the USA.
If you would like to find out more about the use of cookies by Google, read the privacy policy here.
1.5 Google AdSense
Our website uses Google AdSense, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“AdSense”). AdSense sends a cookie to the user's browser after every impression, click or other activity that leads to a call to Google's servers. If the browser accepts the cookie, the cookie is stored in the browser. As a rule, AdSense sends a cookie to the browser when a user visits a page on which Google ads are displayed. Pages with Google ads contain ad tags that instruct the browser to request ad content from Google's servers. When the server delivers the ad content, it also sends a cookie. However, a page does not necessarily have to contain Google ads, but only ad tags that can load a click tracker or impression pixel instead.
This tool uses the following cookies:
- “_gcl_au” (3 months): Used for experiments on the effectiveness of advertising on various websites that use its services. This is the cookie for the “conversion linking” function: Information about clicks on ads is stored in a separate cookie so that conversions can be tracked outside the landing page.
If you would like to learn more about the use of cookies by Google, read the privacy policy here.
1.6 LinkedIn Insight Tag
Our website uses LinkedIn Insight Tag, a service provided by LinkedIn Ireland, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn Insight Tag”). LinkedIn Insight Tag is a JavaScript code that we insert into our website to enable us to report on our advertising campaigns and understand how visitors use our website. This allows us to track conversions, retarget website visitors and display demographic information about LinkedIn members who visit our website. Cookies are set on visitors' web browsers when they visit our website. This allows us to determine which users are shown ads in order to improve the results of marketing campaigns and better demonstrate the effectiveness of the ads used.
This tool uses the following cookies:
- “li_gc” (6 months): This cookie is used to store the consent of guests to the use of non-mandatory cookies

1.7 Google Analytics 4
Our website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google Analytics 4”). If you have not consented to the use of analytics tools, your data will not be collected by Google Analytics 4.
Google Analytics 4 uses JavaScript and pixels to read information on your end device and cookies to store information on your end device. This serves to analyze your usage behavior and improve our website. The access data is compiled by Google on our behalf into pseudonymous user profiles and transmitted to a Google server in the USA. We will process the information obtained in order to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity.
The data collected as part of the usage analysis of Google Analytics 4 is enriched with data from the Google Search Console and linked with data from Google Ads, in particular to measure the success of our advertising campaigns (so-called conversions).
The following data can be processed by Google Analytics 4: IP address; user ID and device ID; referrer URL (previously visited page); pages viewed (date, time, URL, title, duration of visit); files downloaded; links to other websites clicked on; achievement of certain goals (conversions); technical information (operating system; browser type, version and language; device type, brand, model and resolution); approximate location (country, region and, if applicable, city, based on the anonymized IP address).
This tool uses the following cookies:

If you would like to learn more about the use of cookies by Google, read the privacy policy here.
1.8 Google Ads
We also use the Google Ads Conversion Tracking function. Using the data from advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful individual advertising measures are. The aim is to show you advertisements that are of interest to you, to design a website that is as interesting as possible for you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs. For example, we can evaluate which fields on our website are clicked on most frequently and which products are viewed or purchased most often. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We receive information about the total number of users who have clicked on our ads and the actions they have taken.
We also use the remarketing function within the Google Ads service. With the remarketing function, we can present users of our website with interest-based ads on other websites within the Google advertising network (in Google search or on YouTube, so-called 'Google Ads' or on other websites). For this purpose, the interaction of users on our website is analyzed so that we can show users targeted advertising on other websites even after they have visited our website. For this purpose, Google stores cookies on the devices of users who visit certain Google services or websites in the Google Display Network. These cookies record the visits of these users. The cookies are used to uniquely identify a web browser on a specific device and not to identify a person.
We use the Google Ads 'Conversion Linker' on our website. The Google Conversion Linker automatically collects information about ad clicks in the URLs of the conversion page and stores them in cookies within your domain for websites. The data is then forwarded to URLs for AMP pages. We use Google Conversion Linker in conjunction with other Google Marketing Platform products, which allows unique IDs to be stored in these cookies.
